All About Aussiedoodles
Aussiedoodles are a mix of a Australian Shepherd & Poodle. Their lifespan is usually 10-13 years.
TEMPERMENT
They inherit their intelligence from both their Poodle & Aussie parents and are often referred to as the “Einstein Breed”. These dogs are wonderful service & therapy dogs. Aussiedoodles are good family dogs as well, although they need plenty of exercise. They often form a close bond with 1 or 2 people in their family. Aussiedoodles are more active than Bernedoodles & should not be left alone all the time. They need intentional mental stimulation & physical exercise and affection. It is important to socialize your puppy to a variety of people & other dogs & animals so they will be comfortable in various situations as an adult.
COAT
Generally, Aussiedoodles are hypoallergenic & rarely shed. Their coats can be curly, wavy, or straight & come in many different colors. They need to be groomed every 8-12 weeks & should be brushed daily.
SIZE
Aussiedoodles come in a variety of sizes from 25 pounds to 70 pounds. While we can estimate the size of a Aussiedoodle based off his parents, often they grow larger than expected.
SUMMARY
Aussiedoodles are a wonderful, affectionate, intellegent, energetic dog that would make a great addition to an active family who is committed to put the time into exercising, training, & socializing them!
