Our Application Process
At Aspen Mountain Doodles, we do things a little differently—with purpose.
Our top priority is helping each family find a puppy that truly fits their lifestyle. We take a thoughtful, temperament-based approach to matching, rather than a first-come, first-served model.
Each puppy is temperament tested at 7 weeks (day 50). We carefully evaluate their personalities and use specialized software to suggest the best type of home for each pup. Families on our waitlist receive the test results and videos to review. Based on this information, you’ll be able to choose a puppy that aligns with your family’s energy, experience, and goals.
Selections are made in order of deposit, and families are contacted individually when it’s their turn. If none of the puppies in the current litter feel like the right fit, your deposit can be transferred to a future litter.
Step-by-Step: How to Apply
Step 1: Submit an Application

Fill out our Puppy Application Form and send it to us via email at aspenmountaindoodles@gmail.com or through Good Dog.
Important Note:
If you apply or communicate with us through Good Dog, all payments must be made through their platform. Due to their service fees, puppies purchased via Good Dog are $3,000 (discounted to $1995.00 to help pups find homes ASAP).
If you apply directly through us (email/text), your total cost is $2,750 (discounted to. $1995.00).
We accept Venmo, PayPal, or cash for the $500 non-refundable deposit. Final payments must be made via cash due to payment platform restrictions on animal sales. PLEASE NOTE AFTER 8 WEEKS FULL AMOUNT IS DUE AT TIME OF RESERVING A PUPPY. If paying electronically, you must use this link.

After submitting your application, please email or text us at 864-361-2840 with your availability for a phone call. This call allows us to walk you through our program, explain the matching process, and get to know you better—ensuring it’s a great fit on both sides.
Note: We do not allow in-person visits before go-home day to protect the health of our puppies. To learn more about us, feel free to check our reviews on Google or Facebook.
Step 2: Complete the Reservation List Agreement

Review our Contract and Health Guarantee.

Once you’re ready, email us your signed Reservation List Agreement.
Step 3: Secure Your Spot

Once we confirm we’re a good fit, submit your $500 non-refundable reservation fee via:

If using Venmo or PayPal, final payment must be made in cash on pickup day.
